Individual Therapy

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Individual Therapy

Behavior is communication. When children feel well, they behave well! During individual therapy your child will be able to explore and process whatever is causing them really big feelings within a safe and playful setting. Sessions last 45 minutes each and must initially be scheduled on a weekly basis to best establish a positive and healthy connection between child and therapist.

Family Therapy

When we know better, we do better! During family therapy, each member of the family will have the opportunity to have their thoughts and feelings heard and validated. Using games, activities, and talk therapy approaches, your family will build effective communication skills, establish healthy and appropriate boundaries, and begin to feel like the connected unit you were always meant to be.

CLASSROOM OBSERVATION

Pre-K & Kindergarten Classroom Observations & Recommended Accomodations

The classroom environment often poses challenges for neurodivergent children. When we presume competence and provide the necessary supports and accommodations to every child, we create equitable environments for each child to successfully access school and the education every student deserves.

Classroom observations provide an outside perspective of what your child is experiencing in the classroom. Behaviors may be impacted by peer relationships, classroom management, communication difficulties, executive functioning challenges, or sensory under- or overwhelm. An observation and subsequent report with recommended accommodations and supports will be provided to the parent and teachers.

PARENT CONSULTATION & COACHING

Parenting is the hardest job in the world and yet doesn't come with a manual!

Parent Check-Ins: During the course of  your child's individual therapy, we will meet to discuss your child's progress

and provide you a sense of support, validation, and understanding in your journey through parenthood.

Parent consultation and coaching sessions are also available. During these sessions we will discuss your concerns, identify your parenting style, discover any disconnects between you and your child, and explore new ways to attune to and engage with your child as they are.

GROUP THERAPY

As humans, we are wired for connection, and sometimes the best way to heal is

among other like-minded individuals.

Child Therapy Groups will address topics such as social skills, communication, perspective taking, conflict resolution, and self-esteem.

Caregiver Processing Groups provide an opportunity for caregivers to share and process their parenting challenges with others who are having similar experiences.
